The crazy Nor’easter storm thing we had over the weekend was able to cancel one engagement session on Saturday, but nothing was going to stop our trip up to York, ME, for this seaside session with Andrew and Joanne. It was cold and windy but absolutely gorgeous at the Nubble Lighthouse, where Andrew proposed to Joanne back in March. I can’t get over how blue the sky and ocean were! We worked fast so no one would freeze and these two were so fun and easy to work with – go stand on the edge of a cliff while the waves crash on us and the wind blows like crazy? No problem! Love it! Here are some favorites from our afternoon in Maine.
Apparently those wires and poles support a gondola of sorts that can be used to ride over to the island…um no thanks! Although a boat ride over in the kind of surf we saw sounds even scarier. Pretty amazing they built that light up there!
LOVE this so much. Favorite of the day I think
Another view – perfection
The blanket was so perfect – navy blue with white “York Beach” lettering. I kind of want one of my own!
Love this too
Incredibly wild seas
But we still went out to the edge of the rocks!
Adore this one too…these two are so good together!
Beautiful – the wind always seemed to blow Joanne’s hair as if we’d planned it!
Had to make Andrew work it a little!
Annnnd another adorable moment. Love these two!
